VektorGeist ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use our Platform to purchase digital assets and AI-powered products.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your email address, username, and a securely hashed version of your password when you register.
• Transaction Records: Records of purchases made on the Platform, including listing IDs, payment method, blockchain transaction hashes, and wallet addresses used for payment or NFT delivery.
• Blockchain Data: When you make a cryptocurrency payment or receive an NFT, the associated wallet addresses and transaction hashes are recorded. Blockchain transactions are publicly visible on-chain by nature.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, actions taken within the Platform, and general browsing behaviour for improving the service.
• AI Interaction Data: Messages sent to AI-powered features are processed to generate responses and may be used to improve service quality.
• Payment Identifiers: Stripe account IDs and/or cryptocurrency wallet addresses you provide for the Jobs Board, stored to facilitate peer-to-peer transactions and shared with users you transact with.
• Jobs Board Data: Job listings, applications, completion records, and ratings you submit through the Jobs Board.
• Profile & Community Data: Bio text, avatar data, board posts, chat messages, and other content you voluntarily share.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate the Platform; verify cryptocurrency payments and deliver purchased digital products; mint and deliver NFTs; authenticate your account and maintain session security; display your purchase history and API keys; improve and develop features; communicate platform updates; display payment identifiers to Jobs Board counterparties; calculate and display user ratings; and display your public profile, posts, and chat messages to other users.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt). Authentication tokens are signed using secure JWT practices. Private keys used for platform operations are stored in encrypted secret vaults and are never exposed client-side. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Blockchain & Public Data

Cryptocurrency transactions and NFT ownership records are stored on public blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, Solana). This data is publicly accessible and outside our ability to delete or modify. By making a purchase, you accept the public nature of blockchain records.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help operate the Platform (e.g. hosting, IPFS storage) under confidentiality obligations; AI providers (Anthropic processes messages sent to AI features); other users (your username, avatar, bio, ratings, posts, chat messages, and job listings are visible, and payment identifiers may be shared with Jobs Board counterparties); and law enforcement if required by law.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to store your authentication token to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated off-chain data (on-chain data cannot be deleted), and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Platform's support channels.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
