The Hodos Hypothesis

The premise the whole programme rests on, stated on its own account: nothing is what it is in isolation, and a thing — including a self — is the pattern of its connections rather than its substrate. It answers the objection that decides the claim's scope (that the parts must exist before the pattern does, so something underneath simply is what it is), sets out the conditions under which it would earn the word theory — independent replication by people with no stake in it, not the author's decision — and states what it forbids, including the rule that no control may assume two things are unrelated. First published as a section of the Vektorgeist Method paper in July 2026; this record does not re-date it.
